Diabetes also called silent killer. Problem of diabetes occurs when your blood sugar is too high. Glucose is the main source of energy but body can’t take it directly . Hormone insulin secret by pancreas break the glucose of food into your cell so that body can use it. When the function of pancreas affected and secrete less insulin breakdown of glucose affected and body cell became unable take it. Then instead of reaching cell glucose remain in cell. Too much glucose cause health problem . Diabetes has no cure only you can manage it.
It is when glucose is high but person is not diabetics or not serious case.

Type 2 diabetes is most common type of diabetes . It can develop at any age even during childhood. Body does not make insulin well in this diabetes.
Develop in women when they are pregnant. The chances of type 2 diabetes increase during this type.
It is when your blood sugar level is 100-125 milligrams per deciliter ( mg/dl). They are at risk of type 2 diabetes.

Food plays major role in maintaining health and overall wellbeing . Food choice matters a lot. Good food prevent from future complication. Food low in sugar and high in fiber is good for diabetic people.
People with diabetes should make healthful choice of food or proper balance right portion of food
Key to balance diet according to American diabetes association is
Include fruits and vegetables
Eat less protein
Avoid trans fat
Cut the sugar ( added sugar)
Leafy vegetables like cabbage, spinach contains high starch digesting enzyme and antioxidants. Leafy vegetables are pack of vitamin mineral. They minimize blood sugar levels. They absorb excess sugar so maintain normal range.
Brown rice , whole grain bread, quinoa , buckwheat, all these contain high amount of fiber . fiber is important for diabetes help to keep blood sugar level constant . fiber slowdown digestive process an absorption of nutrient.
Beans are good source of plat protein. Beans are low on GI scale that is why regulate blood sugar than many other starchy food . kidney beans, black beans are contains good amount of iron potassium magnesium
Walnut is high in omega 3 fatty acid called alpha lipoic acid( ALA) which is good for health. Diabetes people are also in high risk of heart disease so adding omega food in diet is necessary to prevent from heart disease and stroke. Adding handful of walnut in morning salad can improve overall health.
Sweet potatoes are rich source of vitamin A , vitamin c, fiber, potassium. Sweet potatoes have low GI. Sweet potatoes help in regulating blood sugar levels.
One thing to keep in mind for food choice is GI level. High GI food increase blood sugar level so you have to avoid high GI food.
Popcorn ,pumpkin, white bread, puffed rice, potatoes
Melons and pineapple are two fruits that are high in GI so people with diabetes should avoid these fruits.
Avoid carbohydrate, trans fat, saturated fat
Avoid sugary drink, coffee and too salty food
Here are few best and worst choice to include or exclude in diet
Brown rice, oat meals, quinoa , millet, baked white potatoes, fresh cooked or raw veggies, low sodium food, all fruits except melons and pineapple , plant based protein beans, nuts tofu, low fat yogurt, low fat cottage cheese, skim milk etc.
Soda , beer, cola, sugary drink, coffee , regular yogurt, milk, cream , ice cream, meat, fish, jam jelly, fruit juice with added sugar, food cooked in butter , white rice, white bread, fires .
Walking Is very cheap and affordable way to lower down blood sugar level. 30 minute walk 5 day a week can work magically for people with prediabetes or diabetes.
