Tips for tutors and coaching classes
- Give a receipt every time you're paid, especially for cash.
- Number receipts in order (RCPT-001, RCPT-002…) so your records are easy to check.
- Tick "Print an office copy too" to keep a duplicate for your records.
- If your yearly fee income goes above ₹20 lakh (₹10 lakh in some states), you may need GST registration. Use the invoice generator then.
Important: only make receipts for money actually received. A false receipt can be treated as forgery.
